Thanks to the volunteers who came out for the cleanup and removed trash from a large area of parkland along Neabsco Creek, both in the vicinity of the boardwalk and in the wooded areas upstream of it. The volunteers gathered 124 bags of trash and 17 tires.
The cleanup included participants from:

- Gar-Field HS
- Hampton MS
- Osborn HS
- National Junior Honor Society with Marsteller MS
- Patriot HS
- Northern VA Geocaching Organization
