2nd Sunday hike – Broad Run trail – December 14, 2025

Join us for the 2nd Sunday hike on December 14 on the Broad Run trail upstream from Rt 28.  We will hike about 3 miles on the trail and wooded area in the stream corridor.  The starting point is the trail head behind the Sowder Village Square (Target) shopping center, in Manassas.  
Part of the hike will be on an established trail, and some will be off-trail  in open wooded areas; there are some hills and rocky areas.   We’ll stop at remnants of an old mill site, see scenic views of the stream, and see the changes in the landscape from development on both sides.

Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome

Meet at the trail head, in the parking area behind the shopping center.   

Start time is 1:00 pm 

Registration will allow us to track the number of participants, and notify you if the hike is postponed or cancelled because of weather conditions.
