SUMMARY:Tour of the Towns -- Tour Prince William - August 7\, 2016
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition’s 4th Annual Tour of the Towns — Tour of Prince William cycling event.  This year we return to the eastern and southern portions of Prince William County. Participants may choose from 25-mile\, 45-mile\, or 62-mile (metric century) routes that will introduce you to the wide variety that is Prince William County.  Wind through urban\, suburban\, exurban\, rural\, forested\, town\, flat\, and hilly areas.\n\nThe event will start and finish at Madigan’s Waterfront Restaurant in historic Occoquan\, VA. Registration will include an outdoor buffet breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs\, oven roasted potatoes\, bacon\, sausage gravy & biscuits at Madigan’s Waterfront Restaurant after the event.\n\nFor more information and to register go to tourofprincewilliam.org.

SUMMARY:Occoquan River cleanup - Rescheduled to April 23\, 2016
DESCRIPTION:With unusually cool temperatures and a chance for rain in the forecast for April 9\, we decided to postpone the Occoquan River cleanup until Saturday\, April 23.   We hope that those who planned to participate can come out on April 23 and help to keep the Occoquan clean.   For this annual spring cleanup we’ll be working from multiple locations all along the river and reservoir.  Volunteers gather trash on shore and paddlers work from canoes and kayaks to retrieve trash from the water.  We partner with the PWC Parks Dept\, Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District\, and several homeowner’s associations for this event. \nIf you have not registered\, please click here to register!\n \nFor those of you who have already registered\, and plan to participate on April 23\, no action is necessary (there is no need to re-register for April 23).. \nIf you registered previously\, and cannot participate on April 23\, please email us at vice.president@pwtsc.org and we will remove your name from the list. \n  \nDistance between access points\nOccoquan Cleanup 2016
