Thank you to the volunteers who participated in the Neabsco cleanup on Saturday morning. Overall, volunteers working from two sites (in the vicinity of the Neabsco Boardwalk, and at Neabsco Eagles Park) were able to collect about 75 bags of trash and 25-30 tires.
The 30 volunteers working along the stream in the Neabsco Eagles Park area collected:
- 36 bags of trash
- 11 tires (thanks to Kirk from NoVA Geoche Org for leading the tire retrieval effort)
- shopping cart
- miscellaneous items (fire extinguisher, 5 soccer / basket balls, auto body pieces)

Thanks to the Department of Parks & Recreation staff who were on-site on Saturday morning to haul away the trash bags, tires and other items collected by volunteers.
