PWTSC supported the BMX Bicycle Rodeo for Rockledge Elementary Students on Saturday, October 20. 100 students and parents participated in a the bicycle rodeo and a number of students rode the BMX track located near the McCoart Government Center. PWTSC applied for a Safe Routes to School mini-grant through VDOT which was approved. The funds were used to provide safety items such as reflectors and flashing LED lights, along with safety information on walking and biking to school. Information was provided to parents on local trails that can be used for biking and walking in Prince William County.
