2nd Sunday Hike – June 14, 2026 – Prince William Forest Park

June 14 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for the 2nd Sunday hike on June 14, 2026, which is a free entry day at national parks.  We’ll hike a loop within the Park that includes a portion of the historic Crossing Trail with remnants of the Washington-Rochambeau Route used on the march to Yorktown in 1781.  The route will take us up to the South Fork of Quantico Creek and we’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery you always expect when visiting PW Forest Park.   The hike distance will be about 3 miles on well-maintained natural surface trails with some hills, roots and rocks.

The hike will begin at The Crossing Trailhead.  Park and meet in the Telegraph Parking Lot within the Park.  Please register here

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Well-mannered dogs on leash are welcome.

Registration will allow us to contact you if the hike is postponed or cancelled due to weather.
