Training for Trail Volunteers

The Prince William County Parks Department will be conducting training for trail volunteers on September 9 and 10, 2017.  The training will consist of one day of indoor classroom training, and one day of training in the field. Classroom training will take place at the Parks Dept administrative offices at Hellwig Park.  The field training will take place at Hellwig or at Doves Landing Park.  Volunteers will receive training on trail design, construction and maintenance.  More information and a registration…

Join us on Public Lands Day (Saturday, September 30, 2017) to make improvements on the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail.  We’ll be working on the section along Powell’s Creek, from the power line cut up to Route 1.
